Job Summary

The Closing Expert is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, executing closing routines, and supporting business area teams to ensure a seamless shopping experience. This role requires a welcoming and helpful attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • Create a welcoming experience for guests by authentically greeting them and engaging in conversation to understand their needs.
    • Be knowledgeable about products and services to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
    • Thank guests in a genuine way and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.
  • Closing Routines
    • Consistently execute closing routines to deliver a clean and organized store.
    • Support business area teams in completing closing tasks as dictated by daily priorities and guest traffic.
  • Supporting Business Area Teams
    • Work in all departments to ensure sales floor is full, zoned, and in stock for guests.
    • Follow processes accurately with attention to detail and prioritize tasks to meet business needs.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
    • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
    • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and reliable attendance are necessary.
