Position Title: Senior Building Automation Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

This role entails the development of sales presentations, identification of new business opportunities, and provision of product services and information to clients. The position also encompasses responsibilities related to client pricing management, accounts receivable oversight, client communication, profit and loss reporting, quality assurance support, and participation in industry-related events.

  • Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients.
  • Identifying and researching prospective projects through various channels, including direct outreach, networking at conferences, and leveraging online resources.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Business Development, Project Managers, and Engineering Supervisors to continuously enhance account strategies to achieve defined goals.
  • Utilizing analytical and solution-oriented approaches to drive sales growth, volume, and profitability.
  • Creating and delivering impactful presentations to clients.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing client proposal documents, including both financial and technical components, adhering to EMCOR Service/Mesa Energy Systems standards.
  • Generating sales at established margin levels to secure market presence.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of sales experience in HVAC commercial services or building automation is required.
  • Relevant technical expertise, ideally within a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance context.
  • Proven customer presentation capabilities and a strong sales orientation.
  • Financial literacy, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
  • Experience in crafting technical and financial proposals.
  • Ability to make independent decisions is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
