Position Summary:

The Housekeeper is tasked with the thorough cleaning and upkeep of guest accommodations, corridors, furnishings, and workspaces. Responsibilities include restocking supplies, sanitizing surfaces, and making beds. Typical duties involve vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and performing other general cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make beds and change linens.
  • Restock supplies, including drinking glasses and writing materials.
  • Clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust various surfaces.
  • Polish metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
  • Clean windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty waste receptacles and clean ashtrays.
  • Transport waste to disposal areas.
  • Restock bathroom supplies.
  • Replace light bulbs as needed.
  • Follow safety regulations when using cleaning chemicals.
  • Report to work on time and in uniform according to company policy.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures relevant to this position.
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
