As the Assistant Manager of Housekeeping Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the entire resort.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Distributing work assignments to team members
  • Conducting regular inspections and evaluations of rooms and facilities
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues
  • Monitoring service areas, storage rooms, and hallways
  • Participating in management and safety meetings
  • Overseeing health and safety training and compliance
  • Managing inventory and supply orders
  • Recruiting, training, and developing staff
  • Coordinating schedules and managing leave requests
  • Supervising deep cleaning initiatives and special projects
  • Training Room Attendants and ensuring their performance meets established standards
  • Effectively managing stock levels and equipment maintenance
  • Delivering exceptional guest service, including accommodating VIP requests
  • Ensuring compliance with brand standards at all times

What qualifications are we looking for?

To excel in this role, you should embody the following attributes:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping is essential
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to outstanding guest service
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Housekeeping Assistant Manager position and a proven track record of effective team management are highly desirable.
