Key Responsibilities:
- System Installation and Management: Efficiently set up, operate, and troubleshoot Amivision's AI lighting systems at live events, guaranteeing peak performance and compliance with design requirements.
- On-Site Technical Assistance: Deliver immediate technical support and expertise to resolve any equipment-related issues that may occur during events.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with lighting designers, production teams, and artists to realize creative lighting effects and elevate the overall event experience.
- Equipment Upkeep: Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of lighting apparatus to ensure dependability and reduce downtime.
- Logistical Coordination: Oversee the transportation, setup, and dismantling of lighting equipment for tours and events, ensuring all logistical elements are managed effectively.
- Safety Adherence: Uphold all safety regulations and standards during the setup and operation of equipment.
- Issue Resolution: Swiftly identify and address technical challenges in high-pressure, live-event situations to guarantee uninterrupted performance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and technical challenges for ongoing improvement and future reference.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in live event production, particularly in lighting engineering and technology.
- Robust technical knowledge of lighting control systems and DMX protocols.
- Familiarity with AI-driven lighting systems or similar advanced technologies is advantageous.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by the tour schedule.
- Capability to lift and transport heavy equipment as necessary.
- Must possess valid US work authorization or US passport. Travel visas will be arranged by Amivision.
Education:
- A degree or certification in Technical Theatre, Lighting Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
