Job Description

We are seeking a Field Leadership Specialist to join our team at Elmington Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the field team, overseeing all work on site, and ensuring quality standards are met. The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years of related construction experience, with a strong background in commercial/multi-family construction. A degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering is preferred but can be substituted with relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the field team, including supervising and mentoring staff members
  • Oversee all work on site, ensuring quality standards are met and projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure smooth project execution
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of ten years of related construction experience
  • Strong background in commercial/multi-family construction
  • Relevant degree or certification in Building Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to travel as needed
