Job Overview

We are seeking a Geotechnical Field Specialist to join our team at HVJ Associates in Austin, TX.

About the Role:

The Geotechnical Field Specialist will support project managers and staff as directed to ensure client satisfaction following applicable standards, specifications, and company guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing and inspections as assigned.
  • Document work performed as appropriate.
  • Provide support to project managers as directed.
  • Perform duties in a safe, cheerful, and efficient manner.

Key Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to lift concrete, soil, or asphalt samples up to 50 pounds as a routine part of the job.
  • Able to tolerate year-round outdoor work.
  • Able to travel occasionally with overnight stay and tolerate shiftwork.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with no history of accidents or alcohol/drug-related traffic offenses.
  • 1-2 years of directly related experience.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages to our employees.
