KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome customers warmly; assess their needs and strive to exceed their expectations.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service through engagement and quality product handling.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of available products and services, effectively promoting them to customers.
  • Accurately receive, sort, and distribute mail to designated mailboxes.
  • Prepare items for shipment following established guidelines and protocols.
  • Handle document preparation for printing as required.
  • Utilize various software applications as needed.
  • Manage incoming packages for shipping, including weighing and labeling, and assist customers with package retrieval when necessary.
  • Document and process claims for shipping damages, late deliveries, and lost items.
  • Assist in maintaining the retail space, including stocking shelves, ensuring product organization, and notifying management of inventory needs.
  • Safely operate office equipment such as copiers and fax machines, and assist customers in using these machines.
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Availability to work weekends is required.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service and sales within a retail setting.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and computer applications is preferred.

Language Proficiency:

  • Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy to maintain positive relationships with customers both in-person and over the phone.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Additional Skills:

  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Position requires bending and reaching.
  • Manual dexterity is necessary for operating POS systems and completing paperwork.
