Culinary Expert for Premium Food Service

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Julios Corn Chips. This is a full-time opportunity that requires excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $10.00 per hour
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to the highest quality standards. This includes planning, preparing, and cooking batches of food that are cooked to order or kept warm until ordered and sold.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic understanding of sanitation and regulations for workplace safety, and the ability to multitask by cooking several different orders at once.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare batches of food that are cooked to order or kept warm until ordered and sold;
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, or deep fryers;
- Prepare, wash, and cut food to be cooked;
- Prepare and cook food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions;
- Maintain overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Basic understanding of or ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety;
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly;
- Must be reliable, dependable, responsible, and must be able to work overtime if required;
- Must be able to work well as part of a team;
- Must be able to work well under pressure;
- Ability to maintain personal cleanliness.
- Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays;
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times;
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, stoop, kneel, and reach.
