Job Summary

Holt Ag Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Utility Technician. This role is responsible for performing various tasks within the shop and yard areas, ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shop and Yard Maintenance
    • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address any issues or concerns.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and organization of equipment and work areas.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
    • Operate and maintain various equipment, including steam racks and mud blasters, to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
    • Perform daily checks and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Parts and Inventory Management
    • Receive and inspect incoming parts and inventory to ensure accuracy and quality.
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels, including checking expiration dates and implementing rotation procedures.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and training preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
    • Ability to write simple correspondence.
    • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
    • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
    • Ability to fulfill the essential functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
    • Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement, volume, and distance.
    • Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral instructions.
    • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Valid Class C driver's license required.
    • Clean DMV report required.
