UCSF Fresno Hospitalist Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our team at VACCHCS/UCSF Fresno. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supervising medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to the development of our residency and fellowship programs.
Responsibilities- Provide inpatient consultations with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, chaplains, nurses, and decedent affairs staff.
- Supervise medical students, residents, and fellows on a weekly basis, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Contribute to the development of our residency and fellowship programs, including curriculum design, teaching, and evaluation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
- Must have completed internal medicine residency and be eligible to obtain a US medical license.
- Must be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Applicant must have a Medical Degree (MD, DO or equivalent).
- Applicant must be willing to be flexible and team player.
VACCHCS/UCSF Fresno is a 114-bed acute care, general medical and surgical center with state-of-the-art primary, secondary, and tertiary care in major diagnostic and treatment specializations. We serve over 28,000 Veterans in six counties in California's San Joaquin Valley and are part of the VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN21).
