We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infectious Disease Physician to join our team at UCSF Fresno and the Veterans Affairs Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS). As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to lead, develop, and oversee various ID-related clinical programs, providing consultations in both inpatient and ambulatory settings.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise in Infectious Diseases, including antibiotic stewardship and infection control
- Develop and implement ID-related clinical programs, including teaching and research initiatives
- Collaborate with medical teams, clinical pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Participate in medical education and research, including teaching residents and medical students
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases
- Excellent clinical skills, with a strong commitment to medical education and research
- Experience in antibiotic stewardship and infection control, with a strong interest in clinical research
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals
