We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our team at the Veterans Affairs Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) in Fresno, CA, affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Fresno Medical Education Program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centric care for veterans hospitalized at VACCHCS
- Supervise medical students, residents, and fellows as part of the UCSF Fresno residency and fellowship programs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide inpatient consultations and manage pre- and post-operative patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
- Completion of internal medicine residency and eligibility to obtain a U.S. medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent)
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
VACCHCS is a 114-bed acute care, general medical and surgical center with state-of-the-art primary, secondary, and tertiary care in major diagnostic and treatment specializations.
