About the PositionThis is a full-time faculty position in the Department of Medicine Service, VA Central California Healthcare System (VACCHCS). The physician will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and teaching residents and fellows.
Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care to veterans with hematology and oncology conditions
- Teach residents and fellows in the Department of Internal Medicine
- Participate in medical education and research
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
The ideal candidate will have a medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) and be board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible or board certified in Hematology or Medical Oncology. The candidate must also be eligible for appointment at the VA and have a strong commitment to teaching and research.
