We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Hospitalist Faculty member to join our team at UCSF Fresno and CCFMG. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care, teaching, and research in the Department of Internal Medicine.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in the hospital setting
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the hospital setting
- Conduct research in the field of hospital medicine and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with other hospitalists and healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes
- Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine
- Completion of internal medicine residency
- Eligibility for a California medical license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in academic hospital medicine
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives
- Ability to obtain a California medical license
