Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Bell Partners. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, providing exceptional customer service to our residents, and leading a team of maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Manage and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for maintenance staff and residents.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of leadership and supervisory experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
