Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all aspects of our properties, including interior and exterior maintenance, repairs, and grounds keeping.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, and that all safety protocols are followed to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with residents, management, and other staff members to ensure that maintenance needs are met and that all parties are informed of any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school degree or equivalent required; 2-5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a multi-family housing environment.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and supervisory skills; ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and staff; knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications and Licenses: HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in some communities, based on staffing levels.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 80 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
