Maintenance Manager Job Description

Choice Hotels International is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join their team at the Country Inn & Suites Bothell. As a key member of the hotel's operations team, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of the property, including the development and implementation of business strategies that align with Radisson's mission, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the Engineering department to maximize profitability and revenue.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and interpret plans and contract terms.
  • Ensure compliance with building safety codes, health and safety laws, and other regulations.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs and conduct annual compliance training.
  • Manage hotel renovations, coordinate project status with Corporate Technical Services, and ensure timely completion.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the hotel industry.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience at a similar size hotel.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers.
  • Advanced knowledge of building management and engineering.
