Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a motivated and creative self-starter to join our team as a Client Services Account Executive. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of clients and make a meaningful impact.
As a Client Services Account Executive, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional e-procurement services and expertise to government clients involved in purchasing and construction bidding.
Key Responsibilities- Become a knowledgeable expert on PlanetBids products and their application to client needs.
- Effectively manage unexpected client issues and determine when to involve additional team members or leadership.
- Collaborate with team members to generate innovative ideas and fresh perspectives for client interactions.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to build rapport and present effective solutions to client challenges.
- Handle a moderate volume of incoming calls and support tickets from clients and their vendors.
- Provide professional, friendly, and timely customer support.
- Engage potential customers by addressing inquiries about our products and services.
- Document customer interactions and resolutions in the support ticketing system.
- Coordinate communication with internal departments to ensure client satisfaction.
- Foster sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts.
- Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions.
- Oversee the implementation and onboarding of new clients.
- Participate in events and conferences as needed.
- Assist in responding to RFPs and RFIs, including attending pre-bid meetings and drafting proposals.
- Contribute to the development of company materials, including product updates and marketing content.
- Support Sales and Marketing departments as required.
- Conduct client and market surveys, data analysis, and reporting.
- Assist in testing new products.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned, with the potential for growth as the company expands.
- High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public procurement.
- Proficient in Internet browsers and MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with Google Suite is a plus.
- Knowledge of e-Procurement systems and tools like Office 365 and HubSpot is advantageous.
- Strong phone presence and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A dedicated and secure remote workspace is required for optimal focus.
- Ability to thrive in both autonomous and team-oriented remote work environments.
