About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Cerritos, CA. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, audits, income and expenses, and profits and losses. You will oversee monthly and yearly accounting closing processes and financial documents, working closely with our Korea Headquarters and other intercompany entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee monthly and yearly accounting closing process, and financial documents, ensuring all procedures are being followed.
  • Conduct monthly profit & loss and income & expense analysis, reporting any unusual transactions.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial statements, creating documents such as IFRS F/S (IFRS 16).
  • Assist external audits and attend meetings with CPA to follow up on making any internal changes, as needed.
  • Communicate with HQ and other subsidiaries to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
  • Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation.
  • Oversee company inventory to ensure the physical inventory matches the books.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager in conducting internal audits by preparing reports and ensuring that the audit process is carried out smoothly.
  • Collaborate with CPA on sales tax and income tax to ensure compliance and risk management.
  • Oversee cash flows and report estimated cash flows to Accounting Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Financial Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of work experience in accounting and/or finance.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft D365 and/or other accounting systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to perform high-level mathematical calculations.
  • Knowledge and experience with all standard accounting operating procedures and principles.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team, but also be able to self-motivate and work unsupervised.
  • Must be flexible, dependable, and have a willingness to learn.
