Position Overview

Our behavioral programming is designed and executed based on the Competent Learner Model (CLM), precision teaching, and direct instruction, utilizing various validated curricula. Key Responsibilities
The primary role of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) involves planning, developing, and overseeing a range of behavioral support services tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals facing various diagnoses and behavioral or social/communication challenges.

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments.
  • Design, implement, and oversee behavior intervention plans, including staff actions, IEPs, reports, BIPs, ECMPs, and crisis intervention plans.
  • Participate as a member of the IEP team addressing behavioral concerns.
  • Prepare comprehensive written reports that fulfill the requirements of all funding sources.
  • Supervise staff in the delivery of programs to ensure alignment with established goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal staff and external stakeholders, including school personnel, service providers, and regional center staff.
  • Communicate updates or changes in goals to all team members.
  • Work with the team to create data sheets using an online management information system and other necessary materials.
  • Provide supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Analysts in Training.
  • Complete all CLM Course of Study units promptly.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification in good standing.
- A Master’s degree, preferably in Psychology, Education, or Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Participation in professional development focused on behavior management, Competent Learner Model, progress monitoring, and data collection techniques.
- Certification and ongoing CEUs from the BACB to supervise RBTs, BCaBAs, and/or Behavior Analysts in Training.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or emotional disturbances (preferred).
