Job Summary:

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will provide behavioral support services to individuals under our care, conduct assessments, develop and implement behavioral support plans, and provide supervision to Behavior Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Develop and implement behavioral support plans to address the identified needs of individuals under our care
  • Provide supervision and guidance to Behavior Specialists to ensure the effective implementation of behavioral support plans
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive care and treatment to individuals under our care
  • Provide training and education to staff, family members, and legal guardians on how to implement behavioral support plans

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or a related field
  • BCBA certification required
  • Minimum of two years of experience designing and implementing behavior modification intervention services
  • Strong applied behavior analysis skills and significant experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications
