Job Title: Commercial Property Manager

Ascend Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the fiscal and operational success of our commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the property management team to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective property management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Manage and coordinate capital improvements to ensure timely and proper completion of all work within budget.
  • Oversee lease administration, collections, and default proceedings, and maintain all property leases in lease administration software.
  • Lead and manage property management staff, including hiring, performance management, and professional development.
  • Liaise with owners and accounting team to ensure contract compliance, including preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive annual inspection processes for properties, completing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections as required to meet best practices.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of previous commercial real estate experience with increasing responsibilities, ideally with Class A properties.
  • California Real Estate License and RPA or CPM designations.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and building operations.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Yardi, MRI, Timberline, Building Engines, and other commercial real estate software programs.
  • Professional and exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
