Job Title: Industrial Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Representative to join our sales team at Interlake Mecalux. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling racking and storage solutions within Tennessee, with a focus on Nashville.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with racking and material handling dealers, distributors, systems integrators, and end-users.
  • Conduct sales presentations, complete sales calls, and manage sales order negotiations.
  • Partner with customers to develop long-term relationships and generate additional sales.
  • Develop monthly and weekly sales plans, including prospecting activities and forecasts.
  • Ensure completion of customer projects through coordination of engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering.
  • At least one year of experience working in the Material Handling Industry.
  • At least one year of experience in Industrial Sales.
  • Excellent driving record and ownership of a car with auto liability coverage limits of $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident in bodily injury liability, and $100,000 per accident in property damage liability.

Working Conditions:

Willingness for business travel in Tennessee, visiting customers 2-4 days per week. High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and previous experience using a CRM software.
