About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH) to join our team at Soliant. As a DHH Teacher, you will be responsible for providing educational support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support
- Provide instruction and support in a variety of settings, including classrooms and individual sessions
- Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure students receive consistent support
Requirements:
- State of California Professional Deaf Teaching License
- Necessary Subject Matter Endorsement
- Familiarity with the state IEP program preferred
