As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be part of a team that responds to a wide range of emergency situations, from fires and rescues to medical emergencies and hazardous materials incidents.
Job SummaryWe are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as Firefighter/Paramedics. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical care and transportation, and participating in fire prevention and education activities. You will work closely with other emergency responders, including police and ambulance personnel, to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.
Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care and transportation as needed
- Participate in fire prevention and education activities, including inspections and public outreach
- Work closely with other emergency responders to ensure the safety and well-being of our community
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
- Valid EMT-Paramedic License
- Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Valid Cal-JAC Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT) Card
- Ability to pass a medical evaluation and meet physical fitness standards
- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
