Job Summary

As a key member of our culinary team, the Food and Beverage Manager/Chef will be responsible for overseeing the quality, consistency, and production of our restaurant kitchen. This individual will lead the staff, manage all food-related functions, and coordinate menus, purchasing, and food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and food quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Standards and Responsibilities
    • Develop and implement new menu items, applications, and systems to enhance the dining experience.
    • Supervise kitchen shift operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
    • Maintain accurate inventory management and ordering procedures.
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and visually appealing dishes.
  • Leading Discipline Teams
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance team collaboration and productivity.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Maintaining Restaurant Goals
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to manage kitchen budgets and expenses.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to enhance the bottom line.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related field preferred.
  • 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field; 2 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related field preferred.
What We Offer
