Saputo is a leading global dairy processor, and we're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze test results, machine error messages, and operator feedback to diagnose equipment problems.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery to maintain optimal performance.
- Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs, and reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear, and troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.
- Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs, and respond to production needs as they occur on the production floor.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records, work orders, and task records, and accurately input and record PM activities into our MIS/ERP system.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler, and utility experience.
- 1-2 years of prior industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to trouble-shoot electrical, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment, and strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills.
- SAP experience desired, and self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as necessary, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
