Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Soda Service & Alpine Refrigeration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on commercial-grade refrigeration equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining refrigeration systems for a group of food service locations, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. This will involve performing regular maintenance checks, troubleshooting issues, and communicating effectively with site management and retail store location personnel.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, EPA certification for refrigerant handling, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will also be able to multitask and work effectively with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain refrigeration systems for a group of food service locations
  • Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues
  • Communicate effectively with site management and retail store location personnel
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently
  • Participate in the company's on-call emergency call program
  • Assist with trouble shooting problems
  • Act in accordance with all company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 1 year experience with commercial-grade refrigeration equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of refrigeration equipment and electrical systems
  • Valid driver's license and EPA certification for refrigerant handling
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively with minimal supervision
