Position Overview
Sales Associate - Full Time
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, knowledgeable, and efficient atmosphere for both customers and team members.
Adhere to company standards regarding signage, visual merchandising, and product placement to optimize sales, ensure safety, and reduce losses.
Enhance customer loyalty through in-store initiatives, including design services, private label credit options, and community engagement activities.
Effectively communicate ideas and information in various settings, including customer interactions and team collaborations.
Deliver accurate and efficient service to educate customers about the products and services offered.
Participate in store meetings, training sessions, and activities to improve the overall customer experience by sharing relevant insights.
Work collaboratively with management and colleagues to meet the store's objectives.
Achieve sales targets in alignment with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and shopper-friendly sales environment.
Assist with inventory management and ensure proper labeling of merchandise.
Stay informed about product knowledge and resources to effectively meet customer needs.
Engage in inventory processes as required.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
1-2 years of experience in specialty retail sales.
Proven understanding of professional sales techniques and customer service principles.
Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and active listening.
Proficient in computer applications, including point of sale systems and internet-based programs.
Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Capability to lift and move medium to large items, up to 50lbs.
Comfortable with climbing ladders and maintaining a positive demeanor in a customer-focused environment.
