As a key member of our transportation team, you'll have the opportunity to work on challenging projects that require your expertise, intuition, and leadership. You'll be responsible for developing civil designs for transportation-related projects, using local or AASHTO standards at both conceptual and final design levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare roadway and highway designs using CAD and modeling software
  • Develop plans, prepare technical specifications, and complete peer reviews
  • Coordinate with design discipline leads and promote Jacobs' quality control practices
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality projects that meet their needs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation Focus)
  • At least 5 years of professional engineering experience in roadway design and geometrics
  • Proficient with Microstation/Inroads and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D
  • Previous experience with Department of Transportation (DOT), County, or Municipal projects
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with 3D design surfaces and project coordination
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of federal and state design guidelines and procedures
