Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in industrial piping to join our team at AKP Recruiting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process piping design and analysis, oil and gas pipelines, and pumping and compressor systems. Experience with ASME B31.3, B31.4, and B31.8 codes is essential, as well as familiarity with other applicable ASME and API codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engineering services for various projects involving process piping design and analysis
Work with clients to provide consulting services
Oversee subcontractors and coordinate multifaceted projects
Develop and implement piping and equipment arrangements based on existing conditions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) (preferred)
5-15 years of experience in oil & gas, refining, and/or pipeline industries
Experience with oil and gas general facility engineering support tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams
