Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Community Relations Coordinator (also known as Move-In/Sales Coordinator) who possesses a strong sales background and a genuine passion for supporting seniors and their families. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless transition for new residents into our vibrant community, Cogir of Cedar Creek. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds, including retirement living, hospitality, and real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Community Relations Director in executing strategies to attract leads, manage inquiries, and boost resident occupancy.
  • Evaluate potential residents, facilitate tours, and convert visits into commitments through effective sales techniques.
  • Handle all incoming inquiries, ensuring accurate data entry into our sales and marketing database, and maintain follow-up communication.
  • Conduct community tours and provide informative marketing materials to prospective residents and their families.
  • Assist in generating regular and special sales reports as requested by the Community Marketing Directors.
  • Maintain proactive communication with all potential residents and referral sources.
  • Help prepare essential documentation for successful resident move-ins.
  • Support residents and their families during the adjustment period before and after moving in.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to the community's Customer Relationship Management software (Yardi).
  • Foster strong relationships among residents, department heads, and staff to enhance overall resident satisfaction.
  • Understand and communicate the community's care regulations to ensure appropriate placements.
  • Assist in organizing and executing special events.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing within retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong commitment to serving seniors.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as necessary.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and objectives.
  • Proficient in various computer applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in Assisted Living (AL), Independent Living (IL), Senior Living, or Hospitality is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or similar CRM systems is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate Degree or higher is preferred.
