RH Community Builders is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Shelter Monitor to join our team at the Madera BHBH Program. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide direct supervision of clients, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all residents.
  • Model appropriate behavior and promote compliance with program rules and regulations.
  • Conduct daily routine care and supervision, including monitoring grounds for safety concerns.
  • Pass out client meals and supplies, and prepare coffee for clients.
  • Engage with clients to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Conduct bag checks for all clients entering the facility, adhering to RHCB's bag check policy.
  • Utilize crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations and prioritize staff and client safety.
  • Coordinate with Security Contractor for services as needed.
  • Complete support documentation and daily shift reports.
  • Embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of Elevate Community Services.

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
