Overview of Market Intelligence & Analytics at Cardinal Health

The Marketing department plays a crucial role in evaluating customer demands, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to guide business strategies. This team is responsible for executing strategies through the development, commercialization, and oversight of suitable products and services. Marketing Management provides strategic guidance and leadership within the Marketing sector.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred.
  • 4-8 years of experience in marketing, finance, strategy, customer experience, business development, or data analytics is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, both primary and secondary research, and market intelligence activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred technical skills include experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms, SQL, AlphaSense or related market intelligence tools, and Alteryx.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
Expectations for This Role
  • A proactive approach to uncovering data-driven insights to address hypotheses posed by commercial teams.
  • Conduct independent research on market intelligence platforms, analyze intricate data from various systems, and perform surveys to derive meaningful insights for the Edgepark business.
  • Perform competitor assessments and analyze market trends to formulate strategies that drive revenue growth for marketing teams.
  • Assist the Edgepark marketing team by providing datasets or insights necessary for executing market strategies.
  • Innovate technical solutions to a variety of complex challenges, aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Exhibit the capability to analyze complex data sources and distill them into actionable insights for the Edgepark leadership team.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical skills to execute diverse tasks and projects.
  • May contribute to the formulation of policies and procedures.
  • Propose new practices, processes, metrics, or models.
  • Engage in complex projects of significant scope.
  • Work independently with general guidance on new initiatives.
  • May mentor less experienced colleagues.
  • Establish standard tracking mechanisms for event and conversion metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with the digital and channel marketing teams to test, measure, analyze, and enhance content performance across channels, aiming to improve customer engagement and reduce acquisition costs.
  • Create consistent dashboards and develop models for data presentation, enabling the Edgepark marketing team to leverage data for actionable insights and optimize campaign performance.
Salary Range: $78,500 - $130,035
