We are seeking a skilled Warranty Booker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate your career with industry leading accounting organization as part of Group 1 Automotive.

Salary: We offer competitive pay commensurate with experience and location. Estimated annual salary: $45,000 - $65,000.

Job Description: As a Warranty Booker, you will be responsible for reviewing each warranty repair order for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility according to the manufacturer's policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine and enter the applicable labor operation codes, failure/condition codes, and/or other administrative data required to code the repair properly.
  • Check each repair order in the Vehicle Inquiry to determine coverage, extended warranties, open campaigns, TSBs, vehicle history, etc.
  • Verifies criteria required by the factory or manufacturer.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.

Requirements:

  • Prior dealership experience preferred; not required.
  • Experience using CDK and/or ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Professional personal appearance.
