Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master at Tata Consultancy Services, you will play a crucial role in leading our teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions on time. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices, ensuring they work collaboratively and efficiently to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan sprints with required JIRA and Project Management detail, and effective dependency management.
- Lead legacy initiatives to reduce technical debt, lead broad cross-functional teams to increase rate of technology adoption.
- Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the company.
- Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices.
- Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products.
- Work with the Product Developer to prioritize the product backlog.
- Define and incorporate appropriate Information Security guardrails adhering to security risks/policies.
- Coordinate with operations and engineering teams on issues as they arise, including addressing resource gaps efficiently.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
- Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team's progress.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
- Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
- Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
- Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles.
Requirements:
- 7+ years' relevant experience in Financial Services, Technology or similar fields with demonstrable and measurable results.
- Strong Leadership skill and working knowledge of the techniques required to adequately plan enterprise level changes.
- A customer advocate with a strong focus on customer needs and behaviors as the driving force behind new products and experiences.
- Compelling storyteller with experience communicating strategies and ideas to engineers, technical, and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in articulating strategy and actions to key decision makers and stakeholders across the organization.
- Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
