Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop traction inverters for electric vehicle applications.
  • Conduct design bring-up, characterization, and troubleshooting of traction inverters.
  • Optimize inverter designs to achieve superior powertrain performance.
  • Perform intricate circuit design analysis, thermal management, and control system analysis.
  • Engage in hands-on development of circuit schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Conduct design failure analysis and assist in functional safety initiatives.
  • Support design validation and specifications for end-of-line testing.
  • Collaborate with mechanical design, software engineering, systems engineering, project management, and supply chain teams across the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in power electronics product development.
  • Familiarity with IGBT, MOSFET devices, and power modules.
  • Comprehensive understanding of three-phase traction inverters.
  • Practical experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation and analysis tools.
  • Experience in PCB layout design for optimal signal integrity and manufacturability.
  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in EMI troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of motor control systems.
  • Experience in developing safety-critical automotive hardware.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for power electronics products.
