Job Title: Geotechnical Project Manager

CTL Thompson, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team in Denver, CO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Geotechnical Project Manager to lead complex design projects involving commercial, residential, and municipal structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and complete complex design projects, including planning, analysis, and design of structural or geotechnical components.
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project engineers and staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including regular communication and project updates.
  • Manage project finances, including reviewing invoices, budgets, and change orders.
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Civil or related engineering field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on project management.
  • Current Professional Engineer License in the state of employment or ability to obtain a license within 6 months.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
