Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Senior Project Manager to lead our key client projects in the Denver office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and managing projects, providing technical oversight, ensuring quality control, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of geotechnical engineering projects, from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and engineering calculations to ensure project feasibility and success.
  • Supervise field exploration programs and interpret geotechnical data from boring layouts, utility clearances, and laboratory tests.
  • Provide technical review of engineering designs, drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Coach and guide junior engineers and project managers to ensure their growth and development.
  • Assist with business development efforts through community involvement and client engagement, promoting company values and positive culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong technical aptitude and knowledge of geotechnical principles.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations, with a focus on ensuring project quality and safety.
  • Business development experience, with a proven track record of success in community involvement and client engagement.
  • Required Education: BS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) required; if not currently licensed, must have the ability to obtain within three months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar.
  • Experience in business development, with a focus on community involvement and client engagement.

Compensation

The expected pay range for this role is $85,000-$125,000/year, with the final agreed-upon compensation determined based on specific location and individual qualifications.
