Job Title: General Manager

As a General Manager with Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, you will be responsible for leading the success of your store and team by setting high performance standards and providing exceptional customer experiences. You will coach, develop, and lead your team to achieve Company objectives and serve as the trusted face of the store, building brand recognition and driving business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and develop all store Team Members to build new business and maintain store profitability.
  • Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead your team to reach or exceed sales goals by extending loan or pawn products to consumers, identifying local marketing strategies, and leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities.
  • Supervise and maintain office security, conduct proper opening and closing procedures, and manage vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits.
  • Ensure a work environment that upholds compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a visually pleasing and professional atmosphere that aligns with the values and mission of the Company.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience and proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, customer service, or related industries.
  • Operations experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid and current driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Background check required (subject to applicable law).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
