Job Summary:

The Illinois Secretary of State is seeking a skilled Document Management Specialist to join our team in Springfield, IL. As a key member of our Information Technology - Data Center Services division, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and administering Document Management software. This includes software on both desktop and servers, as well as daily functions such as adding and editing user accounts, keeping track of document processes, and adjusting databases.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, configure, and troubleshoot Document Management software on desktop and servers
Participate in the setup, configuration, and administration of servers associated with each Document Management application
Analyze, configure, and monitor workflow functions, including electronic and manual processes
Assist in occasional programming functions, such as scripts or small utility programs
Research software, hardware, storage media, and file types

Requirements:

Equivalent to one year of college with Computer Science coursework
One and one-half (1.5) years of technical systems and/or programming experience
Valid Illinois driver's license
Ability to lift 0-90 lbs., carry 0-25 lbs.
