Job Summary

The Document Imaging Specialist is responsible for accurately imaging paper documents into the electronic record, ensuring that all scanned images are legible and correctly paginated. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain productivity statistics and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

* Work with presorted stacks of incoming documents to identify the correct patient and scan directly into the imaging system
* Review document pages to ensure proper chronological order and physical orientation
* Remove staples, post-its, and repair with tape as needed
* Reset scanner settings for color or gray forms
* Review blank pages to be deleted and ensure no forms with documentation are deleted
* Maintain productivity statistics and forward nightly to the Supervisor

Requirements

* High School graduate or GED required
* Computer experience preferred
* Clerical/file or data entry experience preferred

Working Environment

* Office environment
* Some travel to Main Campus site for meetings/training
* Occasional medium lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
* Extended computer work
