- Determine appropriate staffing levels for all positions within the Slot Department and oversee personnel scheduling.
- Balance customer satisfaction with profitability by adhering to labor standards.
- Ensure that each team member comprehends and is accountable for their performance expectations.
- Contribute to a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.
- Guarantee compliance with departmental, company, and regulatory policies, including Delaware Lottery Rules.
- Assist in developing the Slot Department's business plan, operating budget, and capital plan.
- Create training programs focused on customer service excellence and supervisory leadership.
- Maintain strict physical safeguards over all financial transactions and records related to Slot Operations.
- Monitor activities impacting departmental efficiency, including Internal Controls.
- Ensure accuracy in daily time sheets, jackpot payouts, and shift summaries.
- Utilize slot floor system reports and player tracking systems to address guest and employee inquiries effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience and three (3) years in gaming operations.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary licensing as required by the Delaware Lottery.
- Proficient in promoting marketing initiatives and communicating relevant information to floor personnel.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, customer relations, and communication skills are essential.
- Capability to lift up to forty (40) lbs. and push or pull up to fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty.
- Comprehensive knowledge of casino regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills are required.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively interacting with guests, colleagues, and management.
