Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director Program Team Leader to join our innovative biotech company, Bicycle Therapeutics. This pivotal role is integral to the success of one or more multi-indication assets in our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Strategy and Leadership: Spearhead cross-functional program strategy, acting as the central leader and main point of contact for the program team, heads of functions, and governance committees.
  • Drug Development Expertise: Lead the strategic direction and execution of one or more asset's integrated nonclinical, translational, clinical, regulatory, CMC, and commercial plans.
  • Matrix Leadership Skills: Serve as the strategic leader of one or more early-phase program teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all functions and levels.
  • Cultural Fit: Cultivate a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the program team and broader organization.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., M.B.A, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline preferred, but not required.
  • 10+ years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a track record in drug development; oncology experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional, matrixed teams through early-stage and pivotal trial stage.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
