RESPONSABILIDADES:

  • Evaluar, gestionar y analizar las hojas de proyecto y cronogramas para asegurar la respuesta oportuna a las solicitudes de información de FEMA, informes programáticos requeridos y otras peticiones.
  • Apoyar la recopilación de documentos necesarios para completar las hojas de proyecto y cumplir con los requisitos de auditoría del programa FEMA-PA.
  • Proporcionar orientación y supervisión a los clientes y subbeneficiarios sobre la administración del programa, políticas, procedimientos, resolver problemas y asegurar la uniformidad en la gestión de subvenciones y contratos.
  • Gestionar y monitorear la implementación, administración, evaluación y cierre de proyectos de acuerdo con las normativas establecidas.
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de los beneficiarios con los requisitos de FEMA y del Estado mediante la supervisión de acuerdos, contratos, gastos y actividades.
  • Revisar y monitorear los costos del proyecto y aprobar justificaciones presupuestarias y revisiones para los subgrantes otorgados. Realizar análisis y elaborar paquetes de justificación para cualquier sobrecoste o subejecución estimada cuando sea necesario.
  • Preparar solicitudes precisas y reportes periódicos para el pago de fuentes de subvenciones estatales, federales y otras.
  • Evaluar las solicitudes de subgrantes presentadas y determinar la elegibilidad del solicitante para la adjudicación según los criterios establecidos.
  • Servir como enlace entre el Estado, FEMA y otros interesados, asistiendo a reuniones, respondiendo a solicitudes de información y resolviendo problemas entre las partes involucradas.
  • Revisar y procesar las solicitudes de reembolso de fondos a medida que estén disponibles, proporcionando determinaciones de elegibilidad continuas.
  • Asistir a los Gerentes de Proyecto en la obtención y registro de registros de trabajo de proyecto precisos relacionados con determinaciones de elegibilidad en campo, adiciones de campo y cambios de alcance.
  • Realizar otras tareas relacionadas según se asignen.
  • Disponibilidad para viajar.
  • Mantener un horario de trabajo regular y estar dispuesto a trabajar horas extendidas cuando sea necesario.

REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS:

3 años de experiencia laboral en el programa de Asistencia Pública de FEMA, y 5 años de experiencia total en gestión de proyectos, gestión de emergencias, cumplimiento financiero o programático, administración pública o empresarial, bienes raíces, construcción comercial, ajuste de seguros, o en otro campo directamente relacionado.

Preferido:

5 años de experiencia en el programa de Asistencia Pública de FEMA, y 10 años de experiencia total en gestión de proyectos, gestión de emergencias, cumplimiento financiero o programático, administración pública o empresarial, bienes raíces, construcción comercial, ajuste de seguros, o en otro campo directamente relacionado.

Graduación de una universidad acreditada con estudios en gestión de emergencias, contabilidad/auditoría, finanzas, administración de empresas, gestión de construcción o administración pública es preferida.

  • Conocimiento práctico del programa FEMA-PA y de las políticas, procedimientos y requisitos federales uniformes asociados.
