Financial Grant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Budget Manager to join our finance team. This role will be pivotal in securing and managing a wide range of grants to support our organization's financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in grant acquisition, management, and compliance, demonstrating strong analytical skills and exceptional proposal writing abilities. This role will require a proactive approach, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. With a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, you will play a central role in the financial growth and stability of our organization.
Responsibilities
Identify, research, and secure funding opportunities from government, private, and corporate sources.
Prepare and submit compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
Manage all grant processes, including application, administration, and reporting, ensuring compliance with all funder requirements.
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of grant programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand program objectives and gather data for grant proposals and reports.
Maintain comprehensive records of all grants, including submission, approval, reporting, and renewal dates.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of grant acquisition and management.
Provide regular updates to senior management on grant progress and performance.
Manages and coordinates budgeting activities and the implementation of the organizations budget policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in grant management.
Proven experience in successfully securing and managing grants.
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent proposal writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that align with funder requirements and organizational objectives.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple grants simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficient in grant management software and databases.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and planning skills.
Knowledge of grant regulations and compliance requirements.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
