Job Title: OSUAA Customer Service and Setup Crew

Position Summary:

This recruitment will be used to fill three (3) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) OSUAA Customer Service and Setup Crew position for the OSU Alumni Association at Oregon State University (OSU).

The OSU Alumni Association has openings for a student position on the alumni center team. This is a year-round position. This is a part-time student position working up to 20 hours per week at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center.

Student employees are an integral part of the day-to-day success of events and operations at the alumni center. Student employees execute event setups and perform basic maintenance, cleaning, A/V setup, technical support, and customer service. Flexibility, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work independently are required.

Job Duties:

  • Customer service at the reception desk and with all clients and guests.
  • Executing event set up and clean up.
  • Setting up, testing and troubleshooting audio, video and multi-media equipment.
  • Moving, storage, and setup of equipment (tables, chairs, projectors, screens, microphones, speakers).

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead a team.
  • Ability to arrive on time and prepared for work.
  • Experience with A/V setups and functionality helpful.
  • Physical ability to complete job tasks, includes lifting, moving and setting up furniture and equipment.
