About the Role

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Fire Systems Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our fire safety business, you will be responsible for developing new opportunities and managing existing relationships with contractors and end-users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Sell fire alarm systems and related products to contractors and end-users, achieving orders and gross margin goals.
  • Account Management: Manage and grow existing relationships with contractors and end-users, identifying new opportunities and expanding our market share.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to identify and qualify new leads, and build customer relationships through consultative selling.
  • Post-Installation Follow-up: Conduct follow-up with customers to ensure commitments were met and affirm customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our complete line of products and services, and stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends.
  • Marketing and Sales Materials: Utilize approved marketing materials to present sales presentations and proposals to prospects.
  • Time and Territory Management: Independently establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies, and consistently apply time and territory management techniques.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of sales experience in the fire alarm industry, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications: NICET level II-certified in fire alarm systems, or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present to broad audiences.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: $65,000-$80,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Sign-on Bonus: $2,000.
