Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit at Newport Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care and services for our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit team
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
  • Recruit, hire, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and dedicated team
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; nursing management experience preferred
  • Certification in Nursing Administration and/or specialty required within 18 months of hire
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island
  • Minimum of three years clinical experience in adolescents, emergency, and/or behavioral health setting preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies
  • Proficiency with existing and new technology platforms applicable to patient care and management
